Are you are experiencing problems with everyday tasks such as getting in and out of your bath or shower due to physical or mental health problems? Do you find it increasingly difficult to wash, dress and undress? If any of the above sounds familiar I can provide you with solutions, a personalised service in your home, which involves a detailed assessment of your problem with advice and recommendations of solutions to assist you in regaining or maintaining your independence.
‘Roisin wrote a very thorough report in support of my appeal against the council’s refusal to renew my
Blue Badge on the grounds of severe disability of the upper limbs. The appeal was successful, her charges
were fair and I’m happy to recommend her to anyone in a similar situation’.

I submit that the work of occupational therapist Roisin Hodgson is to be commended, for the professional
yet sympathetic consultation that my wife received, she was thorough and yet kind in her assessment, and
because the consultation was in connection with a local authority matter she maintained the honesty and
required attention to detail that such authorities require. I have no qualms in recommending her services.

Roisin really helped me with my father. I am so grateful for her advice and calm manner during the
assessment. The equipment and adaptations recommended have all been really useful. I would not
hesitate to recommend her.

Who Do I Work With?
What Do I Offer?
I may suggest new ways of doing things, such as grading, pacing or adapting the activity. I may assist you through goal specific rehabilitation sessions using activity, or I may recommend equipment for which I can arrange a demonstration and trail for you. The equipment can range from small kitchen gadgets to assist with meal preparation or eating, to larger items such as beds, bath seats, toilet seats and chairs. I may recommend specific minor adaptations in your home such as strategically placed handles or rails to prevent falls and improve your safety. I can recommend a local and fully- insured handy person who can carry out the work if you wish. I also assess for major adaptations. I am happy to visit at a time convenient to you. I am available weekends and evenings if required and offer high quality, timely reports if you need one. I will respond to your queries promptly, so no waiting is necessary.
