I provide advice on suitable utensils if you are experiencing problems with eating or drinking due to the progression of your condition, physical deformity or reduced range of movement.

If so, I can provide an assessment and advice on adjustment of the chair height or on alternative seating. For more complex seating issues, I provide advice on postural support and specialist seating. I can arrange a follow up visit to trail specialist chairs which meets your needs.

I provide assessment and skills training sessions to clients wishing to learn or to improve daily living skills, such as cooking, independent travel, budgeting or accessing work, leisure or college.

Are you or a family member suffering with memory problems or dementia which is affecting the ability to manage daily tasks such as washing, dressing or preparing meals? I can carry out a full assessment of daily living skills and provide recommendations of ways to maintain independence and safety. This may involve the use of memory aids, equipment, telecare or advice on how to modify tasks to make them safer.

I offer assessment, relaxation and breathing techniques to people with anxiety problems. I offer desensitization sessions in order to access leisure or community activities which have been self- curtailed due to panic disorder.

Externally I can provide information and advice on improving accessibility to your property. This may be through the use of ramps, rails or adaptation of existing steps. I am happy to advise on adaption of gardens for wheelchair users.
